Climb for a Cause

During Jeremy‘s first visit to Africa, he set a personal goal to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. That is 19,000 feet – Africa’s highest point!

Jeremy knew it would be an extreme challenge, one that would be impossible if he did not have his health. Knowing what an impact HIV has had on the health of children in Africa, Jeremy felt inspired to turn his personal goal into an opportunity for others.

In February, 15-year-old Jeremy and his father set off to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in support of Keep a Child Alive. He did this so that children and families affected by HIV in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, and India, can receive the treatment and care they need. So they can feel strong, healthy, and empowered.

Leading up to the climb, Jeremy rallied his friends and family who helped him raise more than $12,035!  And the donations keep coming in! If you would like to donate to Jeremy‘s campaign, visit: http://bit.ly/Y5jAKP.

We are so proud of Jeremy on his amazing accomplishment and grateful to all of his supporters!

Thanks Jeremy, from the Keep a Child Alive family!
