Kid Power and High School/College
Today’s youth and college students have an opportunity to change the world. The scourge of HIV/AIDS can be curbed within this generation, with the energy, enthusiasm, and determination of young people around the world. With the Keep a Child Alive Toolkit & Community Guidebook, youth have the opportunity to take part in the movement to stop HIV/AIDS in their lifetime.
The Keep a Child Alive College Program inspires college-aged students and alumni to be the grass-roots soldiers of our movement and spread the mission of KCA to their college campuses. We give you the power to decide what works best for your town or campus to raise the most funds possible for KCA and spread awareness of the global HIV/AIDS pandemic that has claimed 30 million lives. Check out our Community Fundraising Guidebook for ideas to bring to your college. Keep a Child Alive has partnered with Generation On to mobilize young people from all backgrounds in the fight against HIV/AIDS. With the use of the KCA Kid Power Organizing Toolkit, KCA and Generation On are excited to engage students through education and service-learning projects in the work of KCA in Africa and India. The KCA Kid Power Organizing Toolkit allows teachers, mentors, peer educators and youth group leaders to work on a local level to have a positive global impact.
The KCA Kid Power Organizing Toolkit is designed for students in grades K – 12.
