Today’s youth have an opportunity to change the world. The scourge of HIV/AIDS can be curbed within this generation, with the energy, enthusiasm, and determination of young people around the world. With the Keep a Child Alive “Kid Power Organizing Toolkit, youth have the opportunity to take part in the movement to stop HIV/AIDS in their lifetime.

Keep a Child Alive has partnered with Children for Children to mobilize young people from all backgrounds in the fight against HIV/AIDS. With the use of the KCA Kid Power Organizing Toolkit, KCA and CFC are excited to engage students through education and service-learning projects in the work of KCA in Africa and India. Ending the AIDS pandemic requires mobilizing diverse communities to help children and families in need – even when they are an entire continent away. The KCA Kid Power Organizing Toolkit allows teachers, mentors, peer educators and youth group leaders to work on a local level to have a positive global impact.

Successful KCA Kid Power fundraisers have included: Change for Change, LemonAID stands, birthday and graduation parties for KCA, bake sales, and garage sales. Check out the KCA Kid Power Organizing Toolkit for even more ideas!
