Who can enter?

Anybody residing in the 50 states US and DC. Sorry this is not open to residents outside the US. Must be over 18 years old and have a valid passport until September 1, 2010 with 2 available pages..

How do I enter?

After you text Alive to 90999, and respond YES you will receive a final text alert with a special link for the contest website. Enter your information and answer the question- “In one word, tell us what AFRICA means to you.” Responses can be made on your phone, on your browser (http://keepachildalive.org/textalive/) or sent in on a 5x7 postcard that must include your name, address, phone number and description in ONE word what Africa means to you.

All initial entries must be made before March 31, 2010

When do I find out?

Prize winners for the first round will be notified by April 7, 2010

What do I win?

The top 100 winners will win a CD by Alicia Keys

What comes next?

The top 100 winners will build their own profile page, on KCA Community and the top 5 most creative pages will win a trip to South Africa with Alicia Keys.

Where am I going?

The 5 winners will join Alicia Keys on her journey back to Johannesburg and Durban, South Africa.

When am I going?

Winners will depart from the nearest major US gateway airport from their hometown on June 13th, 2010. They return home on June 17, 2010. This schedule is subject to change. They will accompany Alicia on 5 days of visiting KCA funded sites.

How are the winners selected?

Winners will be selected by KCA staff
